Product description

Our premium, non-GMO Potato Puree is a gluten-free and grain-free source of highly nutritious carbohydrates and pre-gelatinized starches. This unique, premium product is produced in a continuous process, as part of a food-grade production line. The raw materials used for the Potato Puree originate from the side streams of the potato processing industry, and from potatoes which are not suitable for processing or human consumption. These raw materials are blanched or boiled, reduced and then indirectly dried using a drum dryer. During this process, a large part of the starch fraction is gelatinized. The final product is a light-beige powder with a typical potato taste and odour, with excellent product characteristics. The Potato Puree is a highly palatable supplier of energy and nutrients in feed and pet food applications. Furthermore, the pre-gelatinization results in a product with excellent binding capacity, making it perfectly suitable for both wet and dry pet food applications that do not undergo extrusion.
